He was predeceased by : his wife Merna (Pilot); his brother Lewis; and his sister-in-law Lois Alex. He is survived by : his close friend Betty Grossman; his sons, Eric (Brenda Eskenazi) and Steven (Mara Krechevsky); his grandchildren, Jonah Michael Lipsitt, Daria Krechevsky Lipsitt and Caleb Krechevsky Lipsitt; and his brothers, Paul (Brooke), Cyrus (Carole) and Peter.
