“One of my two favorite teachers of all time at any level - brilliant, approachable, just wonderful. UMass/Boston was a commuter school; it doesn't tend to foster the kinds of friendships among students that are common in residential universities. But "Lee's Gang" did, in fact, form close bonds. I still feel close to those fellow students even though most of see each other rarely, if ever. Were we all to get together, the feeling would reconstitute immediately, and it was (is) all because of Lee.”
