He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth Boyd (Betty); his daughters, Barbara (Ed Ackerman) of Denville, NJ and Jo-Ann (Joe Rebecky) of Rockaway, NJ.; his sister Jo-Ann (Jack Martin) of North Carolina; his grandchildren, Jessica, Ryan, Hannah and Xavier; his grandchildren-in-law, Ellen and Chris Gantner; and his grandchildren, John, Amy Martin, Michael and Kristen Martin. He is also survived by niece and nephews.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made in John's memory to Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center.
