He was predeceased by : his former life partner Leila Brand; and his wife Renee Herskowitz. He is survived by : his children, Steven Brand and Jill Brand (Thomas Nehrkorn); and his grandchildren, Corey Brand, Curt Nehrkorn (Grace Charles) and Mel Nehrkorn (Jem Nash).
