She was predeceased by: her father Cedric Murrell. She is survived by: her daughters, Janetha and Simone; her grandson Sekani; her son-in-law Nana Kwarteng; her siblings, Bernice Reid Groves, Derek Reid, Terry Marshall, Vincent Harewood, Charles Mayers, Cedric Mayers and Tracy Romain; and her sisters-in-law, Sherry Ann Mayers and Sandra Mayers. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, lifelong friends, church families, sorority sisters.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Western Baptist Church (299 Western Ave, Cambridge, MA 02139). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 at the Oak Lawn Cemetery (427 Cummins Hwy, Boston, MA 02131).
