Mary T. Schifferdecker Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary T. Schifferdecker of Cambridge, Massachusetts, who passed away on January 2, 2026, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Joseph A. Schifferdecker; her parents, John J. Quinn and Catherine Quinn (Durant); her sister Gertrude Manion; and her sister-in-law Marie.

She is survived by: her children, Mary C. Rizzuto (Ron) and Joseph F. Schifferdecker; her grandchildren, Maura Rizzuto (Greg Ashe), Philip Rizzuto (Casey Hewson) and Joseph M. Schifferdecker; and her great grandchildren, Calvin and Natalie Ashe. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
