“I 'knew' Susan only via email messages. I'm Siski Kalla, the illustrator for a children's book she was planning to publish. She was so happy to find that I am a scuba diver too (the book describes a little fish's journey to the New England Aquarium, is largely underwater) and was just wonderful to work with. We talked politics too, and life, and about being underwater. She wasn't 'just a client', I felt. I hope that somehow her book can still be published. So sorry to read about her passing.”
