“Dear Cindy, I might have met you at Suzanne and John's wedding. I am a friend of Suzanne's from her time in San Francisco. We met around 1980 through a mutual friend Chris DeMont Ekkelkamp, her Stanford acquaintance. Suzanne and I played a lot of chamber music together and along with Michael Cooper and my husband Kirk we were a loving group of friends. I am sorry I didn't find out about Suzanne's passing until today when I googled, having realized that she had not responded to several messages in the last few weeks.
