William Lane Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Lane of Cambridge, Massachusetts, who passed away on June 19, 2021, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his wife Mary K. (O'Connor); his son Paul J.; and his sister Mary Beatty. He is survived by: his children, William F. (Jayne) of Duxbury, John C. (Bernadette) of Somerville, Mary P. of Cambridge, Anne Marie of Cambridge, Kathleen B. Songer (Joseph) of Maryland and Judith M.; his grandchildren, Courtney E. Alexander (Michael), William M. (Meghan), John C. (Tracy), Katherine E., Patrick D. Lane, Jack V., Mary Kate and Michael J. Songer; his great grandchildren, Colin, Caroline, Elizabeth Alexander, Penelope Lane, Lucy and Liam Lane; his siblings, Francis Lane of Hull and John Lane; and his sisters-in-law, Susan, Anne and Teresa. He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and grand-nephews.
