Alma A. Cheverie Obituary
The passing of Alma A. Cheverie of Canton, Massachusetts leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on July 30, 2025 at the age of 93. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
As Alma departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Alma may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Alma leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Herbert Cheverie and Charlotte Cheverie; and her siblings, Herbert Cheverie Jr. and Mary Lois Hughes. She is survived by: her brother Warren Cheverie (Roberta) of Waltham; and her friend Olga Vasquez of Canton. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, August 7th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Our Lady of Sorrows Church (59 Cottage St, Sharon, MA 02067). A burial will be held on Thursday, August 7th 2025 at the St. Mary's Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to the La Salette Shrine in Attleboro, MA.
