He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Kathleen M. Mariano (Walker); his children, Susan Mariano of Stoughton, Thomas Mariano (Amy) of Stoughton and Jennifer Smith (Lee) of Concord; his grandchildren, Gianna, Gabriella, Claire, Jason and Rebecca; and his siblings, Diletta Nannery of Canton, Carlo Mariano of Mendon, Vincent "Jimmy" Mariano of Hyde Park, Robert Mariano of Canton and Mary Lisa Caulfield of Canton. He was also cherished by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
