She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Sturiano and Carmella Sturiano; and her son John "Jake" Nicholson. She is survived by: her children, Brian J. Nicholson (Sonia) of Halifax and Karon A. Walsh (late Mark) of Norwood; her granddaughters, Rachel, Kristen, Jillian and Jacqueline Walsh; and her great grandchildren, Aden St and Romain.
