We are sad to announce that, on October 11, 2025, Charles Ayer of Canton, Massachusetts passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Mary (Joyce). He is survived by: his daughter Susan Grafton (Glen) of Bridgewater; his grandchildren, Jack, Matthew and Abby Grafton; his son Robert Ayer (Darcie) of Canton; his pets, Smith and Wesson; his sister-in-law Geraldine Hurley (Mike); his niece Christine Clinton-Sinai (Nick); and his nephews, Stephen Clinton and John McDonald (Christine).
As an expression of sympathy, the family asks that donations may be made to the American Legion Post 24, 950 Washington Street, Canton, MA in memory of our beloved Charlie who found great camaraderie and purpose there.
