She was predeceased by: her parents, Sam Masserman and Sarah Massirman; and her husband Leonard Henry Gaffen. She is survived by: her daughters, Dian Seidel (Stephen) and Nancy Desrochers (Daniel); her grandchildren, Neal Desrochers, Emily Desrochers (Junghoon Yang) and Brina Seidel (Scott Greenberg); and her great grandchild Mira Greenberg.
