He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Joan A. (Kelley); his daughter Susan Johnson-Ennis (Robert Ennis) of Wrentham; his grandchildren, Douglas Johnson and Sara Williams (Matthew); and his brothers, Walter Marshall of Quincy, Joseph, William and Robert Marshall.
