It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Edwin H. Hammond of Canton, Massachusetts, born in Holden, Massachusetts, who passed away on February 14, 2023, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Christine M. "Tina" Hammond (Mitcheroney); his sibling Beverly Remiesiewicz; and his grandsons, Michael Avelar, Kenneth Richbourg and Kyle Jacobs.

He is survived by: his children, Kathleen Knowles (Wayne), Carol Hammond of Taunton, Nancy Nagelschmidt (Fritz), Gail Avelar (Finny) of Stoughton and Amy Duquette (Peter) of Walpole. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
