He was predeceased by: his parents, Edwin Short and Frances Short; and his sisters, Barbara and Dorothea Steeves. He is survived by: his wife Lois R. Short (Miner); and his children, David A. Short (Lyn) of Norwood, Patricia Walsh (William) of Roslindale, James Edwin Short (Karen) of South Easton, Gail M. Sullivan (Joseph) of Hanover, Deborah A. Short of Canton and Jean M. Gillis (Christopher) of Canton. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Ed's memory to St Jude's Children's Research Hospital or Alzheimer's Association.
