Elizabeth Speare Obituary
We are sad to announce that on June 7, 2025, at the age of 89, Elizabeth Speare of Canton, Massachusetts passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Elizabeth Speare to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Corney and Phoebe Corney (Tyler); her husband Sceva Speare (Andy); and the father of her children Donald Kreps. She is survived by: her children, Robert Kreps (Nancy) of Longmont, CO, Nancy Ealy (Deke) of Charlottesville, VA and Carolyn Ball (Kevin) of Walpole, MA.; her brother Dr. Robert T. Corney (Libby) of Nashville, TN; her niece Susan; and also Bob (Shannon).
Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 12th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Gillooly Funeral Home (126 Walpole St, Norwood, MA 02062). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 12th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made in Betty's memory to the Anna Maria Island Historical Society in Anna Maria, Florida or the Ruth McLain Hospice Home in Braintree, Massachusetts where she received compassionate and peaceful care in her final days.
