She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, William Skiesgelas and Sophie Skiesgelas; her significant other John McHugo; her siblings, Adele Bryan of Bellingham and Francis Skiesgelas; and her sister-in-law Saundra Skiesgelas of Bourne. She was also cherished by eight grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, and four nieces.
