She was predeceased by: her husband Frank W.. She is survived by: her children, Stephen McLaughlin (Maureen) of Westwood, John McLaughlin (Lynne) of Foxboro and Karen McLaughlin of Canton; her grandchildren, Brendan, Catherine, James, Nicholas, Callie and Rachel McLaughlin; her great grandchildren, Ben and Emmy McLaughlin; and her sister Dorothy White of Rockland. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to the Ruth McLain Hospice House 670 Washington St. Braintree, MA 02184.
