She was predeceased by: her husband Sidney Shafran; her parents, Harry Seiden and Sadie Seiden; her brother Bernard (Faye); and her siblings-in-law, Raphael (Florence) and Ethel (Harold).

She is survived by: her children, Charles (Robin), Melinda (John) and Judith (Eric). She is also survived by 5 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, and a 4th great-grandchild.
