He was predeceased by: his parents, Frederick H. "Harry" Shea and Catherine M. Shea (Connolly); his son Stephen M. Shea; and his sister Alice Shea. He is survived by: his wife Karen M. Shea (Dauphinee); his children, Frederick H. "Rick" Shea III of Stoughton, Kendra D. Shea of Brockton and James J. Shea of Attleboro Falls; his grandchildren, Kayla Ruggiero and Stephen A. M. Simoneau; his great grandchildren, Gianna and Timothy Byrne; and his siblings, Michael Shea (Rosemary) of Middletown, CT, Kathy Welch of Dedham and Paul Shea (Mary) of Stoughton. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 22nd 2026 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Farley Funeral Home (358 Park St, Stoughton, MA 02072). A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, September 22nd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the St. James Church (560 Page St, Stoughton, MA 02072).
