It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joan M. O'Brien of Canton, Massachusetts, who passed away on January 1, 2023, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Maurice O'Brien and Helen O'Brien; her brothers, Richard K. O'Brien (Mary) of Canton and Maurice E. O'Brien (Mary); and her grandson Anthony R. Maffie.
She is survived by: her sons, Robert E. Maffie (Lisa) of Canton and Michael A. Maffie (Katherine) of Norwood; her daughter-in-law Lucretia Maffie (Joan M. Maffie) of Dedham; her sister Helen M. Baril (Daniel) of Canton; her grandsons, Michael A. Maffie of Fall River and Austin D. Maffie of Canton; and her great grandchildren, Bella and Braelyn Maffie.
