He was predeceased by: his daughter Christine Matanes. He is survived by: his wife Joanne M. (Sikora); his children, Dorothy Cicchetti of Plymouth, John A. Matanes, Diane Matanes, Attleboro and Edward Matanes (Nancy) of Berkley; and his siblings, Florence Breen of Quincy and Mark Matanes of Canton. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
