He is survived by: his wife Renee I. (Hessling); his sons, John F. Ruane IV of Canton and Trevor Ruane (Maggie) of Quincy; his parents, John Ruane and Nancy Ruane of Marstons Mills; and his sisters, Cindy LeBlanc (Bob) of Mansfield and Kathy Delbene (Kenny) of Peabody. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
