Maria A. (Maniatis) Tzamalas Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Maria A. (Maniatis) Tzamalas of Canton, Massachusetts, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 16, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid Maria farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Maria is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband John George Tzamalas; and her children, Nicholas Tzamalas and Stephanie Georgaklis (Bill). She was also cherished by many nieces, nephews.
In lieu of flowers donations in Maria's memory may be made to St. Nectarios Greek Orthodox Church, 39 Belgrade Ave. Roslindale, MA 02131.
