It is with sadness that the passing of Mary Benedetti of Canton, Massachusetts is shared. Mary, born on December 4, 1927, passed away on September 19, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Maria Giovanna and Luciano Renzi; her husband Rocco Paul Benedetti; and her sibling Vencent Renzi. She is survived by: her sons, Ronald, Robert (Diana) of Canton and Richard of St. Petersburg; her daughter-in-law Cynthia; her granddaughter Laura (Evan Taylor); her great grandchild Alexandra; and her siblings, Joseph Renzi, Ralph Renzi, William Renzi, Eugene Renzi and Eleanor Ferzoco. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews, and their children and grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, September 28th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Dockray & Thomas Funeral Home (455 Washington St, Canton, MA 02021). A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, September 29th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St. Oscar Romero Church (700 Washington St, Canton, MA 02021).
In lieu of flowers, Mary's family asks consideration of a donation in her name to the Alzheimer's Association (P O Box 97394, Washington DC 20077-7967) or Old Colony Hospice (321 Manley Street, West Bridgewater MA 02379).
