He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles O'Brien and Grace O'Brien; and his nephew Paul Piccirilli. He is survived by: his wife Ruthann O'Brien (Casale); his children, Matthew O'Brien (Meaghan Moriarty) of Wayland, Meghan (Katie) of Missouri, Kelli O'Brien of Canton and Kathryn O'Brien of Canton; his grandchildren, Olivia and Brynne O'Brien; and his sisters, Patricia O'Brien (Trudy Stein) of New Hampshire and Sheila Piccirilli (Michael) of Bellingham. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.
