She was predeceased by: her sister Silvia Sunshine; and her parents, Hyman Edelson and Rose Edelson (Michaelson). She is survived by: her children, David Freid, Laura Freid (David Gottesman), Jocelyn Freid (Paul Gossling) and Alice Major (Kevin Major); her grandchildren, Michael Freid, Rachel Righter (David Righter) and Galen Walton; and her sisters, Doris Goldstein, Rita Eisenberg, Sally Hornstein and Rochelle Edelson.
