We are sad to announce that, on August 5, 2020, at the age of 72, Paul P. Govostes of Canton, Massachusetts, born in Cambridge, Massachusetts passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his mother Alice Crockett; his stepfather Harold Crockett; his father Captain Peter Govostes; his brother Captain John Govostes; and his niece Alexa Foundas.

He is survived by: his sister Debra; his brother-in-law Ted Foundas of Canton; his niece Hallie Foundas; his aunt Mary Smith of Williamsburg, MA; and his cousins, Dr. James Smith of Albany, NY, Greg Smith of Williamsburg, MA, Denise Frilot of Hemet, CA and Rene Frilot of Hemet, CA..

Services and interment will be private. Due to the Current Covid 19 restrictions only 25 guests are allowed in the funeral home at a time, masks are required, and guests should bring their own pens to sign the register book.

“Debbie and family, I'm so sorry about Paul. I have fond memories of him and the years we spent together. We were like family, all of us! I'm glad to hear he was with you at the end of his life. At least I know he was cared for. I hope you are all ok, I've missed you over the years. I'm very sorry I can't make the wake as I'm living with my mother who's now 89 and fear bringing the virus home. Hopefully when things get safer we can see each other. Love, Cathleen Flanagan”
