It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Raymond Joseph Dempsey Jr. of Canton, Massachusetts, born in Winthrop, Massachusetts, who passed away on October 3, 2022, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond J. Dempsey and Sophie (Szczechowicz); his brother Charles E. Dempsey; his sibling-in-law Thomas P. Sullivan; and his niece Regina E. Sullivan.
He is survived by: his wife Sophie A. (D'Agostino); his daughters, Suzanne Dempsey Craig (Christopher R. Craig) of Stoughton, MA and Sandra Jean Dempsey Hillcoat (Glen A. Hillcoat) of Halifax, MA; his grandchildren, Nicholas Raymond Hillcoat, Juliana Sophia Craig, Andrea Suzanne Craig and Samantha Jean Hillcoat; his sister Alice M. Sullivan (Dempsey) of Peabody, MA; his siblings-in-law, Anthony and Barbara D'Agostino of North Billerica, MA.; and his sibling's children, Michelle DeChristoforo of North Billerica, MA and Mark D'Agostino.
