She was predeceased by: her husband Lawrence O. Simms; her son Wayne Simms; and her siblings, Bernard Carney and Mary Carney Carroll. She is survived by: her children, Lawrence M. Simms (Bette Simms) of Bridgewater, David Simms of Boston and Maryanne Simms-Fitzgerald; her grandchildren, Daniel Fitzgerald and Leana Simms; and her great grandchildren, Myles Pappas and Finn McDermott.
