He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred Bandera and Mary "Nellie" Bandera (Metzler); his brothers, Charles, Richard and Kenneth Bandera; his wives, Maryellen (McArdle), Ann (Durkin) and Madelyn "Denise" (Connolly); his son Paul J.; and his grandson Stephen.

He is survived by: his children, Bobby (Ellen), Marie Kayes (George), Susan Messinger (Ronnie), Jimmy (Karen) and John (Christine); his daughters-in-law, Kathy Picardi-Bandera and Cheryl Bandera (Albino); his grandchildren, Allison, Chrissy, Matt, Nina, Julia, Allie, Sophia, Jack, Bobby, Kelly, Maria, Teresa and Joe; and his great grandchildren, Liam, Ryan, Molly, Brody, Rory, Beau and Lincoln.
