She was predeceased by: her husband Paul Benjamin Slate; her son Kenneth Slate; and her brother Marcel Schwartz. She is survived by: her son Ronald Slate (Nancy Gilson Slate); her grandchildren, Abigail Slate Ciampa (Michael Ciampa), Jenny Sarah Slate (Benjamin Shattuck) and Stacey Frances Slate; and her great grandchildren, Madeleine, Samuel, Ruby Ciampa, Ida Lupine Slate-Shattuck and Nadine Pascha Slate.
