“So sorry to learn of Syd's untimely passing. My deepest sympathy to Ronda and the family. I have fond memories of Syd -- from the times we were kids as SABRE club members at the YMHA on Seaver St. in Roxbury - to years later, when Syd planned a mystery night for his old friends at his place of business. We had dinner and he hired a bus to take us on a mystery ride to our stomping grounds throughout Dorchester, Roxbury and Mattapan. He will be missed. Rest in peace dear friend.”
