It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Arthur J Dooley Jr. of Carver, Massachusetts, who passed away on June 3, 2025, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. While his presence may be gone, his impact lives on in the kindness shown to others and the joy found in the ordinary moments of life.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur J. Dooley and Mary Dooley (Barry); and his brothers, Dennis of San Diego and Bruce of Leominster. He is survived by: his wife Joyce P. Dooley (Thibeault); his children, Michael Dooley of Wareham, Diane Kessler (Steven Taves) of Ellsworth, N. H. and Debra Nichols (Steven) of Plymouth; his grandson Brandon Nichols; and his brother Douglas Dooley (Gail) of Dracut.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Cartmell-Davis Funeral & Cremation Service - Care Center (150 Court St, Plymouth, MA 02360). A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, June 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Peter's Church (86 Court St, Plymouth, MA 02360).
