She was predeceased by: her parents, Eugene Brookings and Eva Ellis (late Larry Ellis); her husband Charles McAlpine; her daughter Theresa Wilson; her grandchild Kim Wilson; and her sister MaryLou Cavicchi.
She is survived by: her daughters, Phyllis Horton (Michael) of Bridgewater and Charlene Coleman (Donald) of Brownville Junction; and her grandchildren, Nyomie St. Louis, Joshua Maxim, Erica Dean, James Whynot (JT), Steve Wilson and Jodie Brodack. She is also survived by great-grandchildren and great great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
