He was predeceased by : his father Edward J. Murphy. He is survived by : his wife Lynelle Murphy of Carver; his children, Kristina Guidetti of Hanover, Janis, Steve Currie of Carver, Jennifer and Curtis Emerson of Carver; his mother Inez M. "Ma" Murphy; and his siblings, Diane (Bill Gallo), Inez (Dave Wormald), Susan (Joseph Smith), Frances Riley of Morriston and Lee-Ann (Shawn Durgin). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
