He is survived by: his wife Karen Lee Smith (Nelson) of Carver; his daughters, Kristine Carter of Ohio, Amy Cook of Ohio and Elisa Smith of Taunton; and his grandchild Allison. He is also survived by many relatives and friends.
A burial will be held on Wednesday, September 30th 2026 at 12:15 PM. A committal service will be held on Wednesday, September 30th 2026 at 12:45 PM at the Massachusetts National Cemetery (Bennington Blvd, Bourne, MA 02532).
