John leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. John’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around him. Though he is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support he offered will continue to resonate. All who knew John will carry forward his memory in their hearts.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Theodore H. Goodreau and Audrie Goodreau (Birdsall); and his brothers, Theodore Goodreau and Arthur Goodreau. He is survived by: his wife Joyce E. Goodreau (Bumpus) of Carver; his children, Joy Bonneau (Raymond) of Carver and Jon Goodreau (Michelle) of Bartlett, NH; and his sisters, Barbara Murphy and Georgia Reynolds of West Wareham. He is also survived by seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Center Cemetery - Wareham (26 Tihonet Rd, Wareham, MA 02571).
