He was predeceased by: his parents, Catherine Walsh and Richard Walsh; and his brothers, Dick, Pete and Leo.

He is survived by: his wife Grace; his children, John, Valerie and Bart; and his sisters, Eileen Stuart and Mary Donato (Mike). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
