David Linett Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of David Linett of Centerville, Massachusetts, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 8, 2026 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ann Linett (Sherling) and Jacob Linett (Jack); and his sister Claire Puritz. He is survived by: his wife Penny; his children, Jon Yisroel Linetzky, Peter Linett and Maren Linett; his grandchildren, Sophie, Amelia, Ruth, Lev, Domenic, Hadassah, Jacob and Zachary; and his great grandchild Harper.
A graveside service was held on Monday, January 12th 2026 at 1:30 PM at the Falmouth Jewish Cemetery (7 Hatchville Rd, East Falmouth, MA 02536).
In lieu of flowers, donations in David's name may be made to The Rotary Foundation http://www.rotary.org. with instructions that the gift be designated for the Rotary Leadership Institute (RLI).
