He was predeceased by : his parents, George K. Sr. Hibbard and Constance J. Hibbard (Stackhouse); his daughter Corri; and his sister Nona Holmes. He is survived by : his wife Carol Ann Hibbard (Bisson); his children, Brian (Julie Hibbard) of Marstons Mills, George K. III (Rebecca Hibbard) of Fairhaven, Kristen Van Ness (Christopher) of Bridgewater and Leigh Clarke (Thomas) of Harwich Port; his siblings, Edmund Hibbard of Portsmouth, NH, Trudi Sullivan of Gilford, NH and Faye Ares; and his grandchildren, Ryan, Erik, Lynne, Christopher, Michael, Margaret, Emma, Joshua, Griffin, Noah and Samantha.

Contributions in his memory may be made to VNA Hospice at Cape Cod Healthcare Foundation.
