She was predeceased by : her parents, Walter Leedom and Marian Leedom; and her siblings, Jane Petridis and Thomas Leedom. She is survived by : her children, Jennifer D. Joakim of Valparaiso, John Paul Joakim (Janet) of Centerville, Daniel W. Joakim of Centerville and Karen Joakim of Centerville, Massachusetts; her grandchildren, John Thomas Joakim (Elizabeth Gregory) of Denver, Rachael Joakim of New York City, Marissa Joakim of New York City and Maxwell Joakim of King; and her great grandchildren, Demetrius Joakim and Theodorus Joakim of Denver, Colorado. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and other loving family members.
