She was predeceased by: her former husband Rev. Blaine Taylor; her husband Warren Field; and her parents, Herbert Langer and Ethel Langer. She is survived by: her children, Patricia Taylor (Allen Kennedy) of New York City, Shaw Taylor of Centerville, Rev. Herbert Taylor (Sarah) of York and Rev. John Taylor (Mary Beth) of Centerville; and her sister Pattricia Baril. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, and three great grandchildren.

Lois and the family ask that donations in her memory be given to the United Methodist Church of Osterville (designated to the mortgage fund).
