She was predeceased by: her parents, Carolyn Lindler Pitts and Jolly Post Pitts (Issac); and her siblings, Rebecca Cheatham, Douglas Pitts and Stanley Anshus.
She is survived by: her husband Van of Centerville; her son Jon Johnson (Kelly); her grandchildren, Caroline, Cameron (Megan), Dave Johnson of Centerville, Tedi, Piper of Dennis, DeAnna Murphy (Danny), Finn, Ty of Woburn, MA, Chris Johnson (Sue Dieter) of Falmouth, Eli, Hayley of Centerville, Gordon Johnson (Stephanie) and Max of Alburtis, PA.; her siblings, Ikey Pitts of Camden, SC and Ann Anshus Quattlebaum of Greenville, SC; her sister-in-law Jenny Anshus of Columbia, SC; Hunter of Evans, GA. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her honor to the Osterville Baptist Church Building Fund.
