He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Catherine T. O'Brien (Welsh) and Martin J. O'Brien Sr.; his wife Cheryl Garvin (Garvin); his children, Christopher O'Brien (Rebecca) and Jolie Warren (Matthew); his grandchildren, Liam, Declan Warren, Quinn and Kendall O'Brien; and his siblings, Marty O'Brien Jr. (Lila Mellen), Tommy O'Brien, Danny O'Brien (Joan), Catherine O'Brien (late Bobby Clough), Pauline O'Brien (Louie Nadeau), AnnMarie Kelly (Kevin), Michelle O'Brien, Paul O'Brien and James O'Brien. He was also cherished by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Carr Funeral Home (220 Bunker Hill St, Charlestown, MA 02129). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 7th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the same location. A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, June 7th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Francis de Sales Church (313 Bunker Hill St, Boston, MA 02129).
