With sadness, we share the passing of Gerald A. Donnaruma of Charlestown, Massachusetts. Gerald, born on February 12, 1937, passed away on October 1, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Sabatino Donnaruma and Anna Donnaruma (Rumma); his wife Helen A. Donnaruma (Lynch); his son Gerald Donnaruma; and his siblings, Frances Donnaruma, Eva Donnaruma, Cono Donnaruma and Carmen Donnaruma.
He is survived by: his granddaughter Aliya; his children, Carmen Donnaruma (Karen) and Alicia Alibhai (Karim Alibhai); and his sister Roseanna Shea.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Carr Funeral Home (220 Bunker Hill St, Charlestown, MA 02129). A prayer will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
