He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur F. Nehill and Myrtle Nehill. He is survived by: his sons, William J. and Sean P.; his daughter-in-law Jennifer; his grandsons, Brendan and Ryan; his wife Rosemary; and his siblings, Helen and Arthur.
