It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barbara Ann Sowersby in Charlton, Massachusetts, who passed away on December 13, 2025, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Wilde and Mabel Wilde (Kay); her husband Robert Sowersby; her son Russell A. Sowersby; her son-in-law Peter Ried; and her brother Alan Wilde.
She is survived by: her children, Robert J. Sowersby, Linda Sowersby Ried, Susan Bishop (David) of Lisa, A. S and Arruda (Gary); her brother Bruce Wilde (Mary); and her grandchildren, Chad Sowersby, Kyle Sowersby, Kelly Abbott, Gillian Clegg, Alexander Ried, Russell E. Sowersby, Nicole Bishop, David Bishop (DJ) and Cory Arruda. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
